Pencil Grippers

Improve your child's ability to work with a pencil using these grips. Consult your OT for specific information.

THE PENCIL GRIP

The Pencil Grip is a large, comfortable grip shaped to position fingers correctly, keep the web space open and provide a wide area of contact with the fingers.

RIGHT START

MY FAVORITE GRIP! I work with little ones in preschool and kindergarten and I find that this grip really helps them use a more tripod-type grasp as they are learning to use a tripod. I LOVE THIS GRIP!!!!

STETRO GRIP

Molded plastic grips with indentations for tripod grasp. You can typically find these in a teacher store (The Pencil Grip too!)

I am not terribly fond of tripod grips, they force a hand into what may be an unnatural, uncomfortable posture for that hand.

I haven't use any grip for getting good writing. Because, It is very difficult for me to hold the pencil with the grip

Thanks
